Bio

C. L. Shore writes mystery and suspense. She is a health care provider, research and educator. When not writing or working, she’s usually reading a new mystery or one of the classics. Shore lives in Indianapolis with her family and an ornery tabby.

She began reading full length juvenile mysteries in the second grade, working her way through Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys series. A nurse practitioner, teacher, and researcher, she utilizes her sleuthing skills to address patient, student, and health problems. She writes stories that encourage close examination of preconceptions. A Murder in May is her latest mystery and features a nun protagonist (Sister Lucie is also the widow of a homicide detective). The prequel, Maiden Murders, will launch in February, 2018.
