Countdown to Release: Meet Jed McCracken

Jed McCracken has been a detective on the Indianapolis Police Force for over five years. He’s been without a steady partner since Mark Forbes died a couple of years ago.
When he finds out that a high-profile murder victim was also Mark’s wife’s best friend in grade school, assignment  to the case becomes his top priority. Because Mark died while on duty, Jed still has some survivor’s guilt. Although he probably wouldn’t admit it, solving this crime would help him assuage that negative feeling.
Jed sees himself as rather nondescript in the looks department, but many women would disagree. He is always well-dressed and well-groomed. He stands about 5 feet 10 inches, and has medium brown hair and dark brown eyes.
Once Jed’s immersed in a case, it becomes his obsession. When considering the Charlene Stowes murder investigation, he wonders if he has become too obsessed.
