Countdown to Release: Meet Charlene

Well, it would be nice to meet Charlene, but unfortunately… she’s dead. Her demise in a second-floor room at the elegant Coventry Hotel raises more than a few questions.
We do know a few things about her, though. She was a glamorous blonde. She liked sophisticated clothes and running. The recent Mini-Marathon was her first attempt at a distance event. Until a few years ago, she was a nun. But, at the time of her death, she was married to the president of a private university. Her husband wasn’t a co-inhabitant of her hotel room, however. He knew she wasn’t at home, but wasn’t really worried about where she was…or so he says.
When one of Charlene’s childhood friends gets news of Charlene’s death, she contacts the Indianapolis PD’s detective Jed McCracken, and offers to help with the investigation.  He’s more than willing to accept an offer of assistance.
